Lilac is a really attractive deciduous shrub with big, fragrant flowers. Supplied in a 9 cm diameter pot, approximately 45 cm in height it will grow to two metres or more. It is very hardy and tolerate poor soils including stony ground. To plant it, just dig a small hole, put the root-ball in and back-fill with soil then firm down and water well. You can buy one, two or three plants with this order.
