Black Mondo Grass is an attractive, clump forming plant which has delicate purple flowers in summer. Although grass-like in appearance, with black strap-shaped leaves, it is in fact an evergreen hardy perennial. Supplied as budding sections of bare root meaning they do not come in a pot or container but with the roots wrapped ready for you to plant. Just a dig a little hole deep enough to cover the roots then back fill with soil leaving the buds showing above the surface you can buy one, two or three bare-root plants with this order.
