Nectaroscordum siculum goes by several names including Allium siculum, Allium bulgaricum and Sicilian Honey Garlic. These all refer to this tall-flowering plant, that grows from a bulb, with attractive umbels of creamy-purple petals on a single stem, flowering in early summer. It looks particularly attractive when planted against a dark background such as an evergreen shrub or hedge. To plant it just dig a small hole, place the bulb in the ground then cover with soil, firm down and water well. You can get five or ten bulbs with this order.
